Viacom and BBC join forces in war on AIDS Financial Times The BBC World Service is teaming up with Viacom, the world's largest mediagroup, to launch the first pan-African radio campaign aimed at combating HIV/ AIDS. The project reflects growing alarm at the AIDS pandemic in Africa, where infection rates exceed 30 per cent among sexually active adults in countries such as Botswana and Zimbabwe.
